Jupiter is a nearly perfect seaside town. Blessed with tropical breezes blowing in off the ocean daily, year round mild temperatures, practically unlimited golf and great fishing, you would have to look hard to find a better place to live in southeast Florida. And one of the best places in Jupiter to enjoy all this is Jupiter Harbour.
Located where the Jupiter Inlet meets the Intracoastal Waterway, the 98 condos in Jupiter Harbour have peaceful waterfront views under spreading ficus trees. Since the units were built in the early 1980’s, much land was devoted to common areas and there is also extensive waterfront exposure. There are two bedroom, two bath units of about 1,400 square feet and also three bedroom, two bath units with living space up to 2,060 square feet. Some of the buildings are only 2 floors so the top floors have vaulted ceilings and wood burning fireplaces. In addition to a manned guardhouse, there is a community pool and clubhouse, tennis and library. Many units also have views of the famous Jupiter Lighthouse which is located just across the Inlet and a quarter mile east.
Few locations are as great as this one. The northern side of the community faces directly onto the Jupiter Inlet with its crystal-clear water and coming off that is the marina. The western and southern sides face directly on the Intracoastal Waterway with some units having views directly down the Waterway.
There are three restaurants on the Inlet and all are accessible without needing a vehicle. You can dine outside right on the Inlet and watch the boat traffic and Jupiter Lighthouse in operation as it has been for 150 years. The Maltz Dinner Theater, movies, grocery stores and other restaurants are within a mile or two.
