Hi Andrea,
You are such a rock star! Thank you for being a bigger madwoman than me and getting so much accomplished in such a short window of time. Ray and I discussed the numerous possibilities of this house and decided that, for our budget, we would have too many renovations to make it the “dream home” we want for Lili and Zach. Realistically, we could throw up some dry wall and add a shower upstairs to make it livable for them, but it still would not be ideal. I think if we had more money to work with then we could do some really interesting things. It is unfortunate, because it would truly be a lifetime investment. I suppose the best way to see it is that these great deals do come up and now maybe we can move forward with being more prepared when the next one does and that if it is truly the dream home we won’t have to have as much “vision” to make it work! We’ll keep on looking and are confident our home is waiting out there somewhere!
