Rather than following a legal career, he opted to enter the family home furnishings textile business which he grew 20 fold and sold it at age 53 to Leggett and Platt, a Fortune 500 company, and retired to Jupiter, Florida. His bucket list included playing the top 100 US golf courses.

Illustrated Properties’ affiliations with Christie’s International Real Estate, his son’s website, which pops up within the first 3 positions in most Google searches, and referrals, provide Cary with a steady stream of buyers looking for homes in excess of $1 million. Cary has sold homes, condos and vacant land on the ocean from Jupiter Island in the north end to Boca Raton in the south end, and in gated/non-gated communities such as The Bear’s Club, Admirals Cove, Loxahatchee River, Old Palm, Mirasol, Lost Tree, Jupiter Key, Singer Island, Jupiter Country Club, etc. He has also worked with clients on tear-downs, gut jobs and new construction. His business background in marketing textiles brings an added talent to the real estate business.
