FROM ARCHITECTURE TO REAL ESTATE

From the beginning of his childhood, Stephen Defibaugh was always “drawn” toward the home. It first manifested as an interest in architecture, which led to an interior design position as a young adult. “Eventually, I realized something was missing in my career. That’s why in the late 1990s, two friends of mine and I decided on a whim to get our Real Estate licenses.” And Stephen has not looked back since! With decades worth of experience and expertise, a specialty in the Southern Palm Beaches, and strong negotiation skills with getting you the best deal possible for your new home, he is the Realtor with no fear!

Stephen’s father was a pastor who was committed to helping everybody in the community and beyond, regardless of their background or way of life. From charity work to counseling, along with getting involved with anything that would enrich their lives, Stephen learned the value of what it truly meant to put a smile on others’ faces. “I want all of my clients to feel pure joy upon turning the keys to their dream home, just as my dad gave joy to the countless people he nurtured throughout my childhood!” Inspired by his father’s heart of gold, Stephen lives by the mantra, “Live Your Legacy,” meaning to live your life in a way that you want people to remember you by.

A SOFT SPOT FOR HIS ELDERS

Often focusing on retirement and 55+ developments, Stephen is especially fond of serving the older population. “I grew up in a retirement complex where my father worked for much of my formative years, so perhaps that’s why I have such a soft spot for my elders. You’re forever drawn to who you grew up around, I suppose,” jokes Stephen.

ENDLESS SUNNY DAYS

When not busy working through the sea of clientele who need help buying, selling or renting their homes, you can often find Stephen walking beside the deep blue sea at his local beach. “Nothing compares to the endless amount of warm sunshine we get year round here! It definitely beats the cold up north, that’s for sure!” Stephen is also an avid music lover and traveler, and he loves to cook delicious meals for his family and friends.
