LOVE WHERE YOU LIVEAaron got familiar with Real Estate during his childhood. “Growing up, my mom was a real estate agent and business partner with my father, and my dad ran a kitchen remodeling company. I became fascinated with the process of taking a home that needed love and turning it into a luxurious place to live.” Aaron also assisted his friend in remodeling homes during college. “I found that I was paying much closer attention to Real Estate, so I got my license." Aaron graduated with a marketing degree and worked as a marketing specialist for the USF Recreation and Wellness Department and as a sales associate for Coach. “I learned sales and customer service skills like marketing, branding, sales, and customer service. These are all skills I believe Real Estate professionals should have. My marketing degree taught me about the perspectives of buyers, the proper way to research a product, and the many other aspects of the business that need to be taken into consideration."
NOT YOUR AVERAGE WORK ETHICAaron Kalidyn does not want to be average. “I was inspired by the success my father achieved for himself. He came from Israel not speaking any English and with no money, and became a successful business owner. My mother, being my father’s business partner (and a Realtor), taught me the value of communication, presentation and negotiation. I also get a lot of my work ethic from an internal drive within me to live a meaningful life. I don’t want to be average. I never envisioned that for myself!”REAL ESTATE ROCKSTARAaron grew up in Boca Raton and Parkland. He quickly realized that becoming accomplished at what he did for fun had a direct effect on how he became successful at Real Estate. His hobbies include playing guitar, reading, and working out. “I love to play guitar as it gives me an outlet to express my emotions and perspective in an artistic and creative form. As a kid, I wanted to be a rockstar! I draw inspiration from excellent guitarists such as Stevie Ray Vaughn, David Gilmour, and Alex Lifeson. It takes a lot of practice and hard work to play proficiently, and I’ve taken those same lessons into my work with Real Estate. There’s no substitute for hard work and perseverance.”HOME SWEET HOMEAaron loves to read philosophical books and believes that philosophy starts at home. Pliny the Elder wrote, “Home is where the heart is.” Benjamin Franklin said, “A house is not a home unless it contains food and fire for the mind as well as the body.” From Confucius to the Dalai Lama to Rodney Dangerfield, people have philosophized about what “home” means. Whatever it means for you, home is where happiness resides. “I love reading philosophy because it expands my vernacular and philosophical perspectives whilst filling me with new ideas. Real Estate has so many emotional components and involves a multitude of people and personalities. Philosophy has helped me understand where everyone is coming from, which in turn assists in negotiating better deals for my clients and keeping relationships and processes running smoothly.”
THE CALMAaron offers a calming presence when negotiating and following up. “I try to talk people through their current situation and build a pathway toward finding solutions. I’m present and truly listen. I can analyze outside factors and see things from an objective view, without getting too emotionally attached to the outcome.” Aaron creates a positive, trusting atmosphere in his relationships. “I want to build long-lasting relationships with my clients.
