CBS Spotlight on Business – Echo Fine Properties

Echo was in the news this week!

CBS did a profile piece on our firm this week and how Echo Fine Properties markets properties and what our key differentiators are.  In 2022 our average sale was $1million and we did $500 million in total sales. Take a listen….

Emily: Today we have the pleasure of talking to Jeff Lichtenstein – he is the president of Echo Fine Properties, just voted the best brokerage of the year. I know that you’ve had $500 million dollars in sales in the last year. You do things so differently than others – there’s something you have called the Home ECHOnomics Guarantee – what is that?

Jeff: It’s a little bit of a wordplay – it’s to do with the financial side of your house, it deals with your home. We have 57 promises that we guarantee for each client.

Emily: I love that! It’s just one of the things that differentiates you. Do you do anything different from anybody else out there?

Jeff: Emily, if you got your license tomorrow and wanted to get into the wonderful world of real estate, you would have to pay for everything on your own no matter what company you’re with. So you’re subcontracting out photographers, videographers, brochures – it all comes out of your pocket. With us, we have our own photographers, our own videographers, our own IT department – and we bring in a lot of leads… so we’re taking that off of the agent’s plates and we’re paying for it ourselves.

Emily: So, my guess is if you’re doing that you’re getting the best agents?

Jeff: Yes, because the agents can take care of selling your home, rather than doing the brochures, and putting your home on Facebook and all these other things.

Emily: And you guys are out in the community – what is this thing you just did with Peanut Butter and Jelly?

Jeff: This was fabulous! We had about 20 of our agents who really wanted to help the other coast when hurricane Ian hit, so we ended up making 25,000 peanut butter and jelly sandwiches. The reason we did PB&J is that there’s 450 calories in each sandwich – so that fed the linesmen, the newly homeless people, and it was an essential part of helping out the community.

Emily: Honestly, I think you’re one of the best agencies out there. You really do everything right – all of the way from Palm Beach to Martin and everything in between. Thank you so much for joining us!
